The starting point of this project is Ambiguity. Likewise Rhizome, every programme is mixed and used flexibly. Programme complexity can provide people with a great possibility of space. Commonly, a bridge is not considered as a building, but it is an important part of the built environment. The space above the river will be able to become a good alternative of lands. Commercial programmes such as a hotel, restaurant, and observation centre are fitted in the bridge. Circulation of this bridge is also the key element of the consideration. 

 

Programmes

Typical building’s sections are always the same. However, this bridge has a perfectly different shape of the sections in every part of the building. This can give people chance of an exciting journey. All the people can walk through the bridge with a variation of the space and view. Furthermore, they can walk through the inside of the building but every circulation is completely separated by plans. Apart from circulation route, various programmes are considered as elements to create complex space.

Final Model

Ambiguity is one of the best words to express this building. The plan and section’s boundaries are also ambiguous. in this bridge, plans can become sections and sections can also become plans. Programmes, circulation and even architectural drawing boundaries cannot be defined. The architecture will become more complex in the future. Architects imagine whatever they can do, and people can enjoy the space.
